Summary:

Loss of consciousness (LOC) during acute TBI and altered mental status (AMS) were fond to be associated with recovery status at 1 and 3 months after injury. LOC was associated with incomplete functional recovery at 1 and 3 months. Altered mental status MS was associated with incomplete functional recovery at 1 month.
